Established in 2024, the Oxalis Empowerment Center (OEC) marks a new chapter in Oxalis’ journey as a pioneer in Vietnam’s adventure tourism and the sole operator of the Sơn Đoòng Cave Expedition. With three core pillars of operation: Safety, Conservation, and Community Involvement, Oxalis not only creates unique travel experiences but also contributes to environmental protection and local community development, setting a benchmark for sustainable tourism.
The Oxalis Empowerment Center is dedicated to sharing and scaling Oxalis’ core values, promoting green tourism practices, and fostering sustainable development in Vietnam. Beyond internal operations, OEC is a platform for like-minded businesses, organizations, and individuals to share experiences, learn, and adopt sustainable business models. It serves as a bridge to disseminate knowledge and experience in responsible tourism and effective operations, contributing to building a business community committed to sustainable development.
As a pioneer in Net Zero tourism practices, Oxalis demonstrates its commitment through transparent emissions reporting, strict emissions control, and a pledge to achieve net-zero emissions goal by 2030. Through the Oxalis Empowerment Center, Oxalis provides a learning and collaboration platform for other organizations to pursue Net Zero goals.
