Safety specialist Pham Hong Dai, born and raised in Tuyen Hoa, Quang Binh, draws endless inspiration from exploring caves, his love for nature, and a passion for adventure tourism. With over 8 years of dedication, Mr, Pham Hong Dai has gained extensive experience and currently serves as an internal safety specialist responsible for supervising safety management for the guide team. He is also in charge of internal training on safety for Oxalis’s adventure tours.

With a unique passion for adventure tourism and solid expertise, Mr, Pham Hong Dai has become a vital contributor to ensuring safety and enhancing the credibility of Oxalis Adventure Tours. Affectionately nicknamed “Dai Bigben” for his dynamic and humorous working style, he is not only an experienced professional but also a delightful companion in the eyes of visitors.

Expertise Experience

Before becoming a Safety Specialist in 2022, Mr. Pham Hong Dai accumulated 7 years of experience as an adventure tour guide at Oxalis Adventure. During his career, he continuously honed his skills and knowledge about caves through guiding tours to enhance his professional expertise.

In 2024, Mr. Dai participated in a specialized three-month professional training program in the UK, acquiring skills such as rock climbing, river crossing, caving, rope work, first aid and visiting safety equipment manufacturing facilities to expand his understanding of cave archaeology. Additionally, he undertook survival training trips in HCM City and Dong Nai, applying these skills to his work at Oxalis Adventure.

As a Safety Specialist, Mr. Dai is responsible for training guides on safety management and ensuring visitors’ safety throughout their journeys. His knowledge and experience inspire and motivate his colleagues and visitors alike. He prioritizes creativity and learning from real-world experiences to advance adventure tourism and reinforce Oxalis Adventure Tours’ commitment to safety.

Professional Qualification

Mr. Pham Hong Dai graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Hue University of Foreign Languages. During his tenure at Oxalis, he has participated in numerous intensive training programs on management, business skills, and cave expedition safety. He is currently a member of the British Caving Association (BCA) and the British Cave Research Association (BCRA). Additionally, in 2024, he completed a three-month specialized training program in the United Kingdom to gain advanced knowledge in cave exploration, safety management, safety equipment, and archaeology.
